Emma Reynolds, MP for Wolverhampton North East, last night attended the launch dinner for the first Centre for Sikh and Punjabi Studies at the University of Wolverhampton where the guest of honour was Satinder Sartaj. Emma said, ” It was a great event and my thanks and congratulations to Dr. Opinderjit Kaur Takhar from the University of Wolverhampton for hosting such a great launch dinner and it is fantastic news that this centre has opened here in Wolverhampton with its proud and long history with the Sikh community.
