Emma attends Vaisakhi procession in Wolverhampton

This year’s Vaisakhi celebration in Wolverhampton was a tremendous success and Emma joined hundreds of others on the procession. The route went from Well Lane Gurdwara in Wednesfield to Willenhall Gurdwara, a distance of about three miles, and took place in glorious sunshine.

Emma said "I attend the procession every year. Last Sunday's Vaisakhi procession was a wonderful, well-attended and colourful event to mark one of the most important dates in the Sikh calendar. It is a testament to the tremendous contribution that the Sikh community makes to Wolverhampton."
