Emma celebrates the importance of the work of Brain Tumour Research charity by celebrating Wear a Hat Day
Emma Reynolds, Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East, is marking Wear a Hat Day to highlight the work of the charity Brain Tumour Research. Emma said, “Today I am joining thousands of people across the country to mark Wear a Hat Day on 29 March which highlights the important work of national charity Brain Tumour Research.
“Please join in too by sharing a picture of you wearing a hat and by donating money to Brain Tumour Research UK. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of the under 40s and affect many both in Wolverhampton and across the country.
“While great step forwards have been made in treating other cancers brain tumours have one of the lowest survival rates of all cancers. Supporting Wear a Hat Day will help Brain Tumour Research will help scientists find more effective treatments and ultimately a cure for this devastating disease.”
