Emma Reynolds was delighted with Ed Miliband's speech to Labour Party conference.  In his first speech as Labour's new leader, Ed gave a strong declaration of values and announced that Labour was now led by a New Generation that would fight for a good society and a strong sense of optimism.

Emma said: "I am delighted that Ed Miliband has been elected to lead the Labour Party.  I backed Ed from the start because of his values and his commitment to take our Party back to power.  In his speech on Tuesday he told the country about those values and showed everyone the conviction and passion that will make him a formidable Leader and hopefully a great Prime Minister.

"Ed is now focusing on building a formidable Shadow Cabinet team and providing an effective alternative to the Tory-Lib Dem Government."
