Home Start

Home Start is the UK’s leading national charity specialising in family support. In Wolverhampton Home Start work with families across the city.

Home Start recruits and trains parent volunteers to support other families in their own homes. This includes supporting struggling parents to make the most of local services available to them, offering friendship and confidential advice.

Emma Reynolds MP who attended their AGM on Friday 23 September at Dunstall Hill Community Centre said, “I was delighted to be asked to attend the Home Start AGM and hear about the work undertaken by this fantastic charity in the last 12 months. I would like to congratulate all the staff on their hard work and achievements.”

“The certificates awarded today to the volunteers are a testament to their commitment; one lady has spent an impressive 4 years dedicating her spare time. I would encourage anyone thinking of volunteering to consider Home Start."
