Emma took advantage of the Parliament recess time this week to visit a number of primary schools within her constituency to join in their Easter activities.

“I enjoyed visiting six primary schools this week: Oak Meadow, Wood End, Fallings Park, Wodensfield, St Stephens and Rakegate.

“There were a wide variety of different activities from the traditional telling of the Easter story at Rakegate Primary through to some very energetic Samba percussion music at Oak Meadow.”

“At all the schools the children’s creativeness was on show with some beautiful bonnets and imaginative displays. This week also marks the end of term for the children and I was pleased to be invited to hand out achievement awards during assemblies.”
