Emma enjoyed a warm Christmas welcome at several schools this year. Visits included an all years carol and candle lighting service that Emma was delighted to attend at St Stephens’s primary school.

Wood End primary school early years children gave a special performance of ‘Grumpy Sheep’ to entertain Emma, parents and carers.

Zip Theatre hosted their sell out pantomime at Low Hill Community Centre. This annual event is a joint venture between Low Hill Community Association and Bushbury Hill EMB. Emma spoke at the opening of the event and welcomed Zip Theatre.

Our Lady and St Chad again invited Emma along to their annual presentation evening.

Emma said “I was delighted to attend the annual presentation evening at Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Sports College and to present well-deserved prizes and awards to the students. I was very impressed by what they have achieved.

“I always enjoy spending time in schools at Christmas, the younger children work so hard on their plays and the costumes and singing are always delightful. Their excitement at this time of year is infectious.

“I congratulate all the young people for their achievements this year and also the staff for their role in their schools success.”
