Emma speaks in debate in the House of Commons over the treatment of the Windrush generation
Emma Reynolds, Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East, last week I spoke in a debate in the House of Commons about the government’s scandalous treatment of the Windrush generation.
Speaking after the debate Emma said, “Thousands of innocent people have been caught up in this scandal that is wholly of the government’s making.
“My own constituent Paulette Wilson was threatened with deportation despite living here for 50yrs and it has been painstakingly slow to get the government to acknowledge their appalling treatment of Paulette.”
