Emma Reynolds, Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East paid a visit to Ashmore Park Nursery School with local Councillor, Phil Bateman MBE who is the Chair of Governors. Emma said, “It was great to visit Ashmore Park Nursery and catch-up with the head teacher, Sue Lacey, the deputy head teacher and Chair of governors, Cllr Phil Batemen MBE.

“I had a tour of the school and we talked about the school’s many successes but also their fears over future funding arrangements from government.

“It is an outstanding school and I am continuing to press the government for fair and proper funding so schools like Ashmore Park don’t have to constantly worry about whether they have the proper resources to provide the outstanding education that they do.”

Do you have concerns about school funding? Have you or a family member been affected by funding problems for your youngsters school? If so, I want to hear from you.
