Emma visits award winning Sathnam Sanghera during Wolverhampton’s Literary Festival
Emma Reynolds, MP for Wolverhampton North East went to listen to a talk by Wolverhampton born author Sathnam Sanghera. The former Wolverhampton Grammar School student has gone on to become an acclaimed author and journalist and during his talk, he revisited his first book ‘The Boy With the Topknot: A Memoir of Love, Secrets and Lies in Wolverhampton’.
Commenting on the event, Emma said: “It was great to go and listen to Sathnam. I’ve been a long-term fan and was thrilled to learn Wolverhampton was hosting its first literary festival and to attract someone of the calibre of Sathnam is fantastic.
I hope the festival is repeated in future years as it has got off to a resounding success and is attracting very good attendances.
