Emma Reynolds has visited the Compton Hospice in Wolverhampton to get a glimpse at the £3.5 million refurbishment project there.

Joining other local MPs for a tour of the facility, Emma saw how the interior of the hospice is being transformed as part of the year-long project to bring its facilities into the 21st century. A total of 18 en-suite rooms have been created, while day care facilities and consulting areas have also been redeveloped.

The hospice is due to be handed over from the builders at the end of June before an extensive deep cleaning process is launched.

Patients have been cared for at Wolverhampton's Nuffield Hospital since the start of the project.
