Emma welcomes new minister to Wednesfield

methodist

Emma was delighted to attend a ‘Welcome to Wednesfield Service’ held at Wednesfield Methodist Church. The service was organised by stewards of the church to celebrate the arrival of the Rev. Linda Pearce and to enable people to meet Linda personally.

Linda said: “I'm very pleased to be joining the Wednesfield community and am looking forward to getting to know the people of the neighbourhood. As our church moves towards celebrating its 30th Anniversary next year we will be seeking to develop new community initiatives to serve the surrounding area which I  feel very excited about and feel privileged to be a part of. “

Commenting on Rev. Pearce’s arrival, Emma said: “I was extremely pleased to be there to welcome Linda to her new role. I held a very successful coffee morning at the church this morning and would hope that the church, which is a wonderful venue, can continue to be a focal point in the community and I’m sure that Linda will enjoy her role here immensely.”
