This week Emma secured a debate in Parliament on clamping down on aggressive behaviour by bailiffs, after a constituent of hers was mistreated.

Following the debate, Emma said:

“I was very pleased that there was such strong cross-party support in the debate for greater regulation of bailiffs. I called for a robust complaints process and an independent regulator.  I hope that the government will listen and bring forward meaningful reforms as soon as possible.”
