Emma Reynolds, Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Wolverhampton North East and Shadow Housing Minister, attended a special service to install Bishop Ruben King as the new pastor at the New Testament Church of God in Wolverhampton. The service took place at the Heath Town Church on the Wednesfield Road on Sunday 12 April.

The outgoing pastor, Bishop Winston Willis is retiring after 50 years of ministry. Bishop King has moved from being assistant pastor at the New Testament Church of God in Handsworth.

Emma Reynolds, who is seeking re-election as the MP for Wolverhampton North East said: “I was delighted to attend the special service to install Bishop Ruben King as Wolverhampton New Testament Church of God’s new pastor.”

“I look forward to working with the church’s new pastor and was pleased to be able to personally welcome him to Wolverhampton. I have worked closely over many years with Bishop Winston Willis, who has done fantastic work at the church and also in the local community.”
