Wolverhampton North East MP Emma Reynolds promoted to Shadow Cabinet as Shadow Housing Minister
Emma Reynolds, Labour Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton North East, was today appointment by Ed Miliband as Shadow Housing Minister, attending Shadow Cabinet, in Ed Miliband’s reshuffle of the Labour frontbench. Emma was previously Shadow Europe Minister.Emma said, “I am delighted to have been appointed by Ed Miliband as Labour’s Shadow Housing Minister. Good, affordable housing is a priority for people in Wolverhampton, the West Midlands and across the country. Labour is committed to tackling the supply and demand problems that this government has failed to address.”
“This Tory led government has the worst record on house building of any government for 100 years. By 2020, a Labour government will be building 200,000 homes a year, ending the housing crisis for hard working families. The next Labour government will put housing at the heart of its agenda.”
