Emma Reynolds MP attended the official opening of Jaguar Land Rover’s new engine plant at the i54 business park on the outskirts of Wolverhampton by Her Majesty the Queen. The £500 million investment will create 1,400 jobs and many more in the supply chain. This includes local apprentices, skilled engineers and office staff.Emma has visited the factory during its many phases of the development so was delighted to visit again for its formal opening. JLR has committed to try and recruit as many people from the local area as possible and is working with schools and colleges across Wolverhampton to achieve this.

The factory is a truly impressive state-of-the-art facility and has already provided a significant boost to the local economy.
