Emma chooses the winner of her annual Christmas card competition
Emma Reynolds, Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton North East, has announced the winner for her annual Christmas card competition. The winner was chosen with the Right Worshipful Mayor and Mayoress of Wolverhampton, Councillor Barry Findlay and Mrs Margaret Findlay.
All the entries came from local school children, and a total of 10 local schools took part. This year’s winner was Kit Lewis, age 10 from Perry Hall Primary School.
Kit’s design has been made into 600 Christmas cards which Emma sent this year to local residents, councillors, businesses, charities and other MPs. The designs by 7 other runners-up feature on the reverse of the card.
Emma said “The entries I receive in my annual Christmas card competition are always of an excellent standard and this year was no different. With so many entries it is always difficult to choose a winner but I think Kit’s drawing captured the spirit of Christmas.”
