Emma has opened a new centre for training apprentices at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park. The Skills Training UK Academy for Business Industry and Technology is working with 60 local employers in order to provide them with apprentices. The academy with focus on apprentices in social media and digital marketing, alongside IT, software, web and telecoms.

Emma said “There is a cross-party consensus in the UK that vocational training should be viewed as equally important as an academic education. The young people here will be absolutely crucial to the companies that they will be working in and those companies will be really lucky to have them on board.”
