Emma Reynolds MP backs Liz Kendall to be the next Labour Party Leader
Emma Reynolds has endorsed Liz Kendall to be the next Leader of the Labour Party. Emma was joined by Chuka Umunna, Stephen Twigg and Jonathan Reynolds in throwing their support behind Liz Kendall.

Nominations for Leader open on 9 June and close on 15 June. Candidates need to get the support of 35 MPs in order to progress to the ballot of all registered Labour Party members and supporters. Ballot papers will be sent out to members and registered supporters on Friday 14 August, and must be returned by Thursday 10 September. The new Leader will be announced at a Special Conference on 12 September.
How the Leadership Election will happen
In order to vote you need to be a Member, Registered Supporter or Affiliated Supporter (e.g. trade union member) of the Labour Party. To sign up click on the relevant link. To vote in the leadership election you need to do this by 12 noon Wednesday 12 August.
