On 19 May, Emma Reynolds MP put her best foot forward and joined dozens of sponsored walkers at Northycote Farm. The event organised by Christian Aid hopes to raise vital funds for their projects in Sierra Leone. 200,000 people around the country were due to be taking park in events between 13-19 May.

Emma said “I was delighted to join Wolverhampton Christian Aid Committee at their sponsored walk at Northycote Farm on Saturday. Last year the nationwide event raised more than £20,000.

“All the proceeds raised on Saturday will go to projects in Sierra Leone. Christian Aid works entirely through local partners – local organisations on the ground – who know the needs of the communities in which they work.

“It was a very enjoyable morning at Northycote Farm. I would like to congratulate all the walkers for taking part and raising so much money for this worthwhile cause.”
