Emma was delighted to join Councillor Ian Angus and local campaigners in welcoming the news that the plans to build an incinerator by the Stafford Road had been scrapped.Residents voiced fierce opposition to the planned development on the Wobaston Road. Emma and Ian had gathered a petition, the results of which had shown the majority of residents to be vehemently against the plans. Objections included concerns about increased traffic and pollution.
