Emma signs pledge to help promote awareness of Cardiac Risk in the Young
Emma Reynolds, Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East has pledged to help raise awareness of Cardiac Risk in the Young. Emma said, “I am proud to pledge my support for this amazing campaign to help raise awareness about cardiac risk in the young.
“I was contacted by a constituent who had suffered the heartache of losing a child who had an undiagnosed heart condition and who is now championing awareness and promoting the screening of young people to try and identify previously unknown conditions.
“The group, CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) is hosting a free screening at the Molineux on the 2 and 3 June to screen 200 young adults between the 14 and 35 to detect any heart defects.”
