Emma Reynolds, Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East is supporting calls for Channel to move to the West Midlands when they leave their current offices. Emma said: “Channel 4 relocating to the West Midlands would be good for both Channel 4 and our region. The West Midlands is one of the most diverse areas of the country and it would be a perfect match for Channel 4’s younger and more diverse audience. We have excellent universities and a rich cultural and industrial heritage which Channel 4 could draw on.

“I hope everyone across the Midlands can get behind the campaign to persuade Channel 4 to look at relocating to our region. The opportunity for job creation and the growth of our local creative industries mean this would be a fantastic shot in the arm for the West Midlands economy.”
