Emma Reynolds, MP for Wolverhampton North East, paid a visit to the Stay Well in Wolverhampton Bus and urged people to hop on board to get some top tips about improving their health and wellbeing. The Health Bus is touring Wolverhampton, providing expert help and advice about keeping well this winter and members of the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Healthy Lifestyle Service will be offering free Health Checks, including BMI and blood pressure tests and lifestyle advice.

There will also be information about diabetes, stopping smoking, the Walking for Health programme, Sugar Swaps and drug and alcohol services, as well as details of the Affordable Warmth Grant which is available to individuals and families who meet certain criteria.

Emma said: “It’s a wonderful initiative, and I would urge residents to go along and meet the professionals who are there to offer free information and advice to help people stay well, especially during the winter months.”
