Emma has visited Gecko Programmes, who organise Erasmus work experience placements in Europe for young people, as well as other training programmes. Emma visited Gecko’s main site at the Wolverhampton Science Park. Emma met with manager Pat Cross to discuss the impact of the decision to leave the European Union on his business.

Emma said “I was delighted to visit Gecko Programmes and learn about the range of work placements they offer. The scheme offers young people the chance to get valuable work experience at the same time as experiencing another European culture. The skills they learn will make them invaluable to employers. European countries that are outside of the EU do take part in the Erasmus programme so they have asked me to put pressure on the government to make sure that the UK continues to participate.”
