Emma Reynolds MP was asked to join in with celebrations at St Paul’s Primary School in Pendeford.The school has recently been inspected by Ofsted and have raised their attainment from ‘satisfactory’ in 2010 to a ‘good’ rating.

During the visit Emma was also asked to officially open the schools new “Trim Trail”. The new fitness equipment has been installed to encourage pupils to keep active.

After the visit Emma said, “I was delighted to visit St Paul’s Primary school and meet with the head teacher Ms Morris, staff members and pupils. I commend the school for such a positive Ofsted result. Clearly the school has worked extremely hard since their previous inspection and all the effort has paid off.”

“I was also pleased to see that the school is keen to encourage the children’s fitness and had recently installed new play equipment. Congratulations to all those involved at St Paul’s Primary and I hope the school continues to go from strength to strength.”
