The Olympic Torch will be making its way through Wolverhampton on Saturday 30 June. There will be a carnival atmosphere as Wolverhampton celebrates this historic event.

Emma said “The arrival of the Olympic Torch in my hometown of Wolverhampton is very exciting. Not only is this our chance to show our pride for this great city, it is an opportunity for families to come along and have a good time.

“I understand that there will be events and activities staged at various points right along the six-and-a-half mile route. There will be a diverse range of entertainments from drummers to Elvis impersonators!

“I would encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the party, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity”.
