“I was delighted to take part in the Vaisakhi celebrations and procession from the Well Lane Gurdwara (temple) in Wednesfield to the Willenhall Gurdwara. The celebrations have a long and proud tradition in our city and are always colourful, joyous and much fun.”

“I have closely supported the Sikh community in Wolverhampton and am looking forward to celebrating Vasaikhi again on 5 May in the West Park.”

“The Sikh community makes a fantastic contribution to the local area by promoting community harmony and demonstrating a firm commitment to making Wolverhampton a vibrant area to live and work. I am really proud that together, we can celebrate and share our festivals and cultures.”
