Emma Reynolds, Labour MP for Wolverhampton North East and Shadow Housing Minister, has today been re-elected as Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Aerospace. The Group brings together more than twenty MPs and Lords from across different parties to act as a link between the government and the aerospace sector.

Emma said, “I am delighted to have been re-elected as Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Aerospace. The group plays a valuable role in representing the aerospace sector by giving it a voice in Parliament and in discussions with the government. Aerospace is a hugely important industry to both Wolverhampton and the UK.

“The British aerospace industry is the largest in Europe and second only to the United States globally. In Wolverhampton, we benefit enormously in terms of jobs and investment from our cluster of aerospace companies, such as UTC and Moog.

“As Chair, I am calling on the government to continue to support UK aerospace companies. These companies help to grow our economy and employ thousands of people in Wolverhampton and across the country.”
