MP for Wolverhampton North East Emma Reynolds, ran an exciting competition to select her Christmas card. Every primary school in Emma’s constituency of Wolverhampton North East was invited to send their most colourful festive designs.Emma was delighted to receive over 100 wonderful entries.

The winner was Melissa Malahleha, aged 10, a pupil at St Paul’s Primary School in Pendeford. A special assembly will be held at the school where Melissa will be presented with a copy of the card, a certificate and a gift voucher.

The card was kindly sponsored by Cosmo Restaurant, Bentley Bridge, St Phillips Care Ltd and Revolver Co-operative Ltd.

Emma said “I was really pleased to receive over 100 entries to design my Christmas card. I send over 500 cards every year, so I was excited to give one of my talented young constituents an opportunity to design it.

“All of the entries were brilliant and it was a real struggle to choose a winner. Melissa’s design was chosen in the end as I thought its simple colourful design would work well on a card.

“I would like to thank all the school children for taking part and a special thanks to Melissa and the runners up”.
