Welcome to my website. On 6 May 2010, I was elected as the new MP for Wolverhampton North East. It is a great honour to represent my home town in Parliament. I would like to thank everybody who supported me.

    We remember the tragic deaths and accidents of workersEmma attended the Workers' Memorial Day service in Wolverhampton (28 April 2009). There was a wreath laying ceremony by local trade union branches and a short service by Industrial Chaplain, Rev. Ruth Reynolds-Tyson (pictured with Emma here). In Britain last year, 229 workers were killed in their workplace. 18 of the deaths were people from the West Midlands. At the service, 18 pairs of shoes represented those who passed away. The annual event is organised by Wolverhampton, Bilston & District Trades Union Council & Black Country Urban Industrial Mission....

    Remembrance Sunday in WednesfieldKen Purchase and Emma attended the Remembrance Day Service in Wednesfield (November 2008). Emma said: "I always find Remembrance Day moving. My Grandad fought in World War II. He has incredible recall of the experience and many fascinating stories to tell. He had a tough time but enjoyed the intense friendships he formed during the war.
